Christina Poutetsi is an editor covering tourism in the newspaper “TO VIMA”, member of the Lambrakis Press S.A, one of the largest and the oldest Media Groups in Greece. She graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens, specializing in International and European Studies, and completed her postgraduate studies at the Communication Department of the City University London, with a Master’s degree in Communications Policy.
In April 2013 she attended “The Executive Program on Strategic Reputation Management”, organized by the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and the Reputation Institute. For her work Christina was awarded in 2014 with the “Citi Journalistic Excellence Award” in Greece, administered by Columbia University in New York, where she attended the «International Journalists Seminar».
She started her professional career in 1997 as a communication executive in the NOVA digital satellite platform of the NETMED group, and then served as a scientific associate to a member of the Greek Parliament and a communications advisor at the Ministry of Tourism (2005-2006). Since 1999 she was collaborating with “TO VIMA” as an associate editor for the Saturday edition of the newspaper. In 2004 Christina started a full – time collaboration with the Sunday inserts, magazines of “TO VIMA” (VIMADONNA, VIMAGAZINO and VIMADECO). From 2006 and up to date, she is an editor covering tourism and local and international business features in the Sunday edition of “TO VIMA” and the daily digital edition www.tovima.gr. Since 2010 she is an ordinary member of the Journalists Union of Athens Daily Newspapers (ΕΣΗΕΑ).
